Scarpa announced a new partnership with pro skier Chris Davenport
saying Dav will be instrumental in helping the brand develop a new line
of freeride boots.
The privately owned Italian company that has its own factory is in a
financially healthy place to aim high with this project, says Andrea
Parisotto, the company’s president and chief financial officer.
But despite being financially stronger than many of its competitors
and being open-minded to opportunities, they have no acquisitions
finalized, Parisotto says.
With business deals currently off the talking table, Skiing Business sat down with Parisotto and Kim Miller, Scarpa North America’s chief executive officer, to find out more about the company’s direction and its freeride push.
