Katja Erbe is to become brand director for Reebok in Germany, Austria
and Switzerland from the start of next year.
Erbe has been in the Adidas
Group for 13 years, currently as director of the franchise channel in
the global wholesale division.
The function of general manager for
Reebok in the German-speaking countries will no longer exist from
February. That position was previously occupied by Elke Stein, who
agreed a few days ago to switch to Jack Wolfskin as joint general
manager from next Feb. 1.
The change is part of the group’s transition
to a joint operating model, in which each area has a general manager at
group level, one brand director for Adidas (Martin Schindler in the case
of Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and another for Reebok.
Jeremy
Bauer, the marketing director for Reebok in the same area, will also be
leaving the company at the end of the year. His position will be taken
over by Erbe. She will report to Günter “Jimmy” Weigl, managing director
of the Adidas Group in the Area Central, covering the German-speaking
countries and some East European countries.
