Seattle, Wash., Feb 13, 2013 -
Therm-a-Rest is honored to announce it has won an ISPO GOLD AWARD 2013 for its new Therm-a-Rest LuxuryLite® UltraLite Cot™
at the recent 2013 ISPO Trade Fair in Munich, Germany. The LuxuryLite
UltraLite Cot was recognized for its revolutionary design, light weight,
comfort and packability.
This is the second major industry award for the Therm-a-Rest
LuxuryLite UltraLite Cot, which was also awarded an OutDoor Industry
award when it debuted at the European OutDoor Trade Fair in July 2012.
The UltraLite Cot is so light and packable—2 lb. and 6 x 15 in.,
respectively—even backpackers can carry it into the backcountry. It fits
easily into panniers, kayaks and other tight storage places. It
features a laminated waterproof and stretch-free nylon cover, anodized
aluminum poles, and durable nylon feet for heavy use.
The cot’s patented bow frame technology creates a stretch-free fabric
bed that offers superior comfort, eliminating painful crossbars and
squeaky joints found in other cots. It allows users to sleep 4.5 inches
above ground, providing great comfort for anyone but especially for
those sleeping on rocky, wet or uneven ground, or for those who
experience back pain. The LuxuryLite UltraLite cot also makes a superior
addition to any Therm-a-Rest sleep system for unrivaled comfort in the
backcountry and on global adventures.
Therm-a-Rest’s award-winning LuxuryLite UltraLite Cot, along with a
wider, mesh version called the LuxuryLite Mesh Cot, is currently
available for purchase at retail stores.
