Business people ( Flash ) : Finell steps down as general manager of Columbia EMEA

Shortly after Columbia Sportswear’s 2012 results were reported with significant declines in the region of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), it became known that Christian Finell has stepped down as the company’s general manager in charge of the EMEA region.

Finell confirmed his departure, but declined to give additional information on the reasons. He stated that he and the company separated ways amicably based on a mutual agreement.
Finell served in that position for nearly five and a half years. He will be replaced on an interim basis by Doug Morse, who is in charge of Columbia’s Canadian business.
