Business news :Zumiez's Comps Slide in February

Zumiez, the action sports chain, reported February sales increased 10.6 percent to $44.5 million, compared to $40.2 million for the year-ago month. The company's comparable store sales decreased 8.9 percent for the four-week period ended Mar. 2, 2013 compared to a comparable store sales increase of 14.2 percent for the period ended Feb. 25, 2012.
