The Newton Running Lab, Newton Running’s retail outlet at 1300 Walnut Street in downtown Boulder, will serve as a race-packet pick up location for BolderBOULDER competitors. The public is welcome to visit the Newton Running booth at the SportsEXHIBIT on Pearl Street on Saturday and Sunday, May 25-26 from 10 am – 6 pm, and at the RaceDayEXPO on the CU campus on Sunday morning.

The 2013 race starts at 30th and Walnut Streets and winds through neighborhoods with live music and entertainment at every corner. The race finishes at the University of Colorado’s Folsom Field and attracts over 150,000 spectators.
Members of Newton Running’s running team, which will be rebranded from Team Alchemy to Newton Running Elite later this month, will compete at this year’s BolderBOULDER. Newton’s top contenders are Jeremy Freed, who in won the citizens’ category in 2011 with a time of 30:29, and Fernando Cabada, who in 2010 placed 13th in the elite field in 30:55 and former CU cross-country and track star Stephen Pifer. Newton Running Elite team members also racing include Kara Henry, Mark Cucuzzella, Nicole Chyr, Tyler McCandless, Stephanie Pezzullo, Mark Rochon, Paul South, Amanda Scott, Josh Carson and Bob Weiner.
