The news came as a bomb in boating and yachting sector.
French Shipyard Wrighton, manufacturer of sailboats BILOUP, located in Bethune, has indeed been placed in receivership by the judicial tribunal of commerce of Arras on 31 May.
This decision follows a state of insolvency, the company is no longer able to pay its creditors.
The court appointed dispatcher must now take stock of the economic premises of the company and decide either a continuation of activity, liquidation, knowing that recovery is possible.
This placement in receivership comes as the site celebrates its 40 years, and it launched in April its new model, the 265 Biloup.
