Fleet Feet, Incorporated, the nation’s leading franchisor of running
specialty stores, announced a franchise partnership with John Dewey
today, owner of Off ‘n Running stores in Greensboro and High Point,
North Carolina. This is the first partnership of its kind for the
company and one of the key strategies to expand its retail footprint in
the coming years.
As part of the agreement, John Dewey becomes a Fleet Feet Sports
franchisee and his two stores will be rebranded as Fleet Feet Sports.
Fleet Feet, Incorporated will work closely with Dewey and his staff to
grow the business and strengthen his position in the market.
“We
are excited to partner with John and his staff,” said Jeff Phillips,
president and CEO of Fleet Feet, Incorporated. “We have great respect
for the service, education and loyal following Off ‘n Running has built
in the local community over the last ten years and that is why this type
of partnership makes sense for Fleet Feet Sports. It allows us to work
closely with successful local retailers, support them to grow their
businesses and bring what we do to more communities around the country.”
Fleet
Feet, Incorporated approached Dewey last year about working together.
The company was interested in having a presence in Greensboro and was
impressed with the Off ‘n Running operation.
“I am excited to
become a part of the Fleet Feet Sports community,” said Dewey. “I’ve
had the opportunity to get to know the company and the people and the
tools they provide will help me take my business to the next level. I
can get the support I need but still run the business and that’s
important to me.”
Fleet Feet, Incorporated is the industry
leader in franchising successful, community-oriented, specialty stores
serving runners, walkers and lifetime fitness enthusiasts. With 105
