Business news : Azimut Yachts ( Italy ) and Bulgari join forces

The Italian yacht-builder provided the use of its vessels for a Bulgari jewellery showing in Portofino last week
                   
A select group of clients from around the world descended on Portofino, Italy last week to view the latest jewellery collection from Italian luxury goods brand Bulgari. The event, which ran from June 20-22, was held in partnership with Azimut Yachts, which provided exclusive use of its vessels for excursions on the Italian Riviera and to transfer guests to a gala dinner on June 22.
                   
“We are very satisfied with this partnership,” says Francesco Ansalone, marketing director of the Azimut-Benetti Group. “We are two companies with very different backgrounds, but we undoubtedly share a nurtured passion for well-made, beautiful things that conveys the best of Italian style and culture to an international audience.”
                  
Azimut Yachts, together with Benetti and yacht services company Yachtique, is part of the Azimut-Benetti Group, one of the world’s largest yacht and megayacht builders. The Azimut Yachts range comprises Flybridge, S and Magellano yachts from 12m-37m (40ft-120ft).
                   
Bulgari, part of the LVMH Group, is a diversified global player in the luxury market, with a portfolio of products and services ranging from jewellery and watches to perfumes, accessories and hotels.
