Aug. 5, 2013 - SEATTLE -- K2 Sports, a global

its leadership team with the promotion of Dominic McKenna, a long-time
member of the K2 Sports leadership team.
McKenna will serve as
Vice President/General Manager of K2 Canada, effective immediately.
McKenna started with K2 Canada in 1995 and has been instrumental in
shaping the company’s Canadian presence, supporting retail relationships
and building a more profitable partnership opportunity for Canada’s
retail network.
“Dominic’s knowledge and experience in the
Canadian retail landscape will be key to opening up more opportunities
and continuing the successful growth trajectory of K2 Sports in North
America,” said Anthony De Rocco, President and CEO of K2 Sports.
The
move reinforces K2 Sports’ position as a global leader in year-round
outdoor recreation. K2 Sports continues to invest in product innovation,
retail support initiatives and its leadership team to grow
opportunities for its retail partners.
McKenna will be focused on
growing the existing K2 Sports portfolio in addition to targeted growth
initiatives involving the K2 Ski brand and it innovative and well
received new Ski boot program, the BCA, Madshus and Zoot brands and K2’s
new goggle and accompanying helmet category.
