Fall season team additions and promotions designed around providing superior customer service, growing brand awareness.
Sep. 24, 2013 - BOULDER, Colo. – Adding firepower
to its internal Sales Service and Marketing teams, SCARPA North America
this fall made a number of new hires and promotions in a number of new
and existing positions around the goal of providing superior customer
service and continuing to grow brand awareness in the U.S. and Canada.
In
the marketing department, SCARPA promoted Shunnie Chen to Grassroots
Marketing Coordinator and hired Tristan Hobson as Marketing Coordinator.
Both will report to Marketing Manager Colleen Nipkow.
Chen, who
has worked for the last six years at SCARPA as a dealer sales service
representative, and who has previous retail experience in several
outdoor shops, will oversee athlete sponsorship and support of SCARPA
athletes, events and help manage promotional programs to increase brand
awareness and strengthen the image of the brand.
Hobson’s role is
focused on creating all of SCARPA North America’s creative assets,
including catalogs, printed marketing materials and digital materials,
as well as overseeing all photography needs. Hobson brings experience
from working with the La Fuma group and CAMP-USA, as well as an
advertising degree from the University of Colorado.
In Sales
Service, SCARPA has added or promoted three people on the team. Emily
