With the ambition to increase its presence in the urban and extra –
urban mobility market, Kawasaki presents an ambitious project to
introduce its first scooter in the European market .
Entirely designed by a dedicated team, the new scooter J300 has
interesting visual cues that Mr. Fukumoto, center manager style of KHI
commented :
“It was very important that our first step into the European
market of the scooters was made with a vehicle that contains stylistic
elements that distinguish the design of Kawasaki . We are happy to have
achieved this goal with the style of the new J300 “.
With regard to the guiding principles of the design philosophy, Mr.
Fukumoto added: “J is for Jyounetsu which means passion in Japanese. We
approached the style and design of the J300 with the same passion that
we put in the study of all our models”.
Recognized at European level the demand for scooter fashionable, easy to
drive and reliable , Kawasaki has filled an obvious gap in its product
offering.
J300 is added to the range of successful urban motorcycles transport as the popular series ER and Versys.
Based on mechanics, extended to the engine and chassis , provided by the
strategic partner Kymco, development, design and engineering approach
to the final product have been developed exclusively by the team of
design and engineering of Akashi with the support of the Department of
European research and development.
Available at official dealers already by the end of 2013 , J300 will
be presented to the press and to the public at Exhibition in Milan from
November 5, 2013.
