(NASDAQ: ZUMZ), a leading specialty retailer of action sports related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, today announced that total net sales for the five-week period ended October 5, 2013 decreased 6.0% to $58.9 million, compared to $62.7 million for the five-week period ended September 29, 2012.

The Company’s comparable store sales decreased 0.6% for the five-week period ended October 5, 2013 compared to a comparable store sales increase of 5.6% for the five-week period ended September 29, 2012.
