Boulder, Colo, Nov 25, 2013 -
Boulder, Colo. (Nov. 20, 2013) RecoFit Compression Gear has
been selected as a finalist in the “Sportswear” category of the
prestigious ISPO BRANDNEW contest at ISPO MUNICH 2014. This juried
competition at the leading international sports business trade show
highlights the best up-and-coming developers of sports gear and related
start-up companies.
RecoFit, based in Boulder, Colo., designs and manufactures
compression products to enhance circulation, support muscles, delay
fatigue and improve recovery. Its unique approach to compression gear
is its use of carbon-based technical performance fabric that is thin yet
strong, breathes, disperses heat and moisture and has a negative ion
charge. Its calf and full-leg compression sleeves are beneficial for
athletes, people who stand for long periods at work or who travel on
long trips, and for pregnant women.
ISPO MUNICH features 2,400 international exhibitors presenting
sporting goods and fashions from outdoor, ski, action and performance
sports to more than 81,000 visitors from more than 100 countries. As a
BRANDNEW finalist, RecoFit will have a booth at the German trade show
January 26-29, 2014.
“As a small company that makes its products in the USA, this is a
huge honor to be recognized by ISPO,” said RecoFit’s owner Susan Eastman
Walton, “and this is an exciting opportunity for us to reach an
international audience.”
Well-known brands that have benefitted from the largest rookie
contest in the global sporting goods industry include Go Pro, On Running
shoes and Naish Kites.
