Salt Lake City, Utah, Dec 17, 2013 -
Gregory Mountain Products, the industry leader in backpacks and
adventure travel gear, has hired Colleen Nipkow as marketing
director.Nipkow, who joins Gregory with extensive industry experience
most recently at Scarpa and Black Diamond, will collaborate with the
global product and sales teams to lead campaigns that support the
brand’s continued market growth. Gregory has also added Aaron White as
marketing coordinator and Allaina Jeffreys as graphic designer to round
out the marketing team heading into 2014.
“Colleen’s
track record in the outdoor industry and her years of experience
leading successful marketing programs make her an ideal fit for us,”
says Bill Kulczycki, Gregory’s general manager. “We’ve got a lot of
positive momentum going into the new year and Colleen, along with Aaron
and Allaina will really step up our marketing initiatives.”
Nipkow
has already joined the Gregory team in Salt Lake City from Boulder,
Colorado, where she worked as the marketing manager at Scarpa.
Previously, she worked in the Black Diamond Equipment marketing
department for over ten years. She has experience with athlete and brand
ambassador management, public relations and advertising campaigns,
brand identity development, social media and product marketing support.
Nipkow will oversee Gregory’s outside public relations and branding
agencies and continue to bolster Gregory’s marketing campaigns.

Aaron White, Gregory’s new marketing coordinator, joins the team from
Black Diamond Equipment, where he was the field test coordinator for
six years. White will oversee Gregory’s presence in the field at events
as well as support Gregory’s diverse marketing programs. Allaina
Jeffreys joins Gregory as graphic designer and will be responsible for
Gregory’s visual identity.
