January 9th, 2014, Charlottesville, VA – Alyssa Godesky, former Business Analyst for AOL Networks, has joined Bad to the Bone Endurance Sports as the Director of Marketing and Operations. In this role, Godesky will lead strategic marketing initiatives for each of the events that Bad to the Bone produces.

“We’re really excited to have Alyssa join our team,” says Dr. Francesca Conte, President of Bad to Bone. “She brings a wealth of marketing and operational experience, and her experience as a professional triathlete makes her an asset to an endurance sports company. I have no doubt that her insights and energy will take the marketing for Bad to the Bone and our sponsors partnerships to a whole new level.”

Godesky holds a B.A. degree in mathematics from the University of Virginia. “I am excited to return to Charlottesville to work with a team that is so passionate about what they do. I was looking for a company that not only embraces, but celebrates the endurance sport lifestyle – and I have found that with Bad to the Bone.”

In 2013, Godesky finished 10th in her age group at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, and was the 6th female overall at the JFK 50 Mile. Godesky is also very passionate about coaching and helping other athletes find a way to achieve their athletic goals. She has partnered with her own coach, Ironman Champion Hillary Biscay, to offer comprehensive one-on-one triathlon coaching through TeamHPB.
