Lorpen Applies Anatomical Ankle Design To Ski Sock Line For 2014

Lorpen, a leading designer and manufacturer of high performance socks for outdoor enthusiasts, has redesigned its ski socks to feature a new anatomical design that results in enhanced ankle comfort and overall foot warmth.

The new T3 Ski Light and T3 Ski Midweight socks represent Lorpen’s most advanced performance socks ever, and will be available at wintersport specialty retail stores and online at www.lorpennorthamerica.com in fall 2014.

“Each year we consistently look to improve technical aspects of our sock collection,” said Bruce Barrows, VP of sales and marketing at Lorpen North America.  “Over the years, we have realized the ideal synthetic and natural yarn combinations for optimal moisture management, warmth and comfort, however this new design feature for 2014 will improve the foot’s blood flow for even more comfort and warmth.”

The new anatomical design in Lorpen’s T3 Ski Light and T3 Ski Midweight socks feature a unique padding in the heal and ankle area to improve the blood and nerve flow throughout the foot. This new design, coupled with a combination of high-performance natural and synthetic yarns, promises to keep the foot dry and insulated, reduce blister formation, and keep the foot comfortable for a full day on the slopes. Gender-specific designs for both men and women.
