POOLTRADESHOW finds a new location and introduces interactive lounges for attendees

Las Vegas Nevada - February 13, 2014 - POOLTRADESHOW, February 18th through February 20th, is the well-known destination at MAGIC Market Week for retailers to discover emerging art and design driven brands and this season POOL has a new home in the lower level of Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

POOL continues to introduce promising young brands such as MNKR, Curbside, and The Poster List to its curated and focused roster. Proven successes Jeffrey Campbell, Motel Rocks, and Tiffany Kunz have graduated from POOL and this season they will be positioned amongst the more established brands at the various other MAGIC Market Week shows.

Designed to have a pop-up store atmosphere, POOL's CASH & CARRY section brings the craft-fair environment to a wider audience. Complimenting the wholesale brands featured on the POOL floor, this platform provides independent crafters an opportunity to expose their brands to the fashion industry by directly selling immediate goods.

Throughout the show, four brand-sponsored activations will host POOL attendees. The Sprout Watches Lounge will have a "Design A Watch" competition where the winning design will be produced in a limited quantity. A "Sock Exchange" will be held at the Sock It To Me Lounge where guests will trade in their socks for a new pair by the brand. At the Curbside Lounge artists will be making live art and Industry Bastards will unveil a living wheat-paste mural by Jfeather.

POOL sponsor Store Envy, will host a Computer Lounge where retailers can learn about a special "collection" of brands exhibiting on site. The Fashion Business Accelerator will create a Brand Therapy Lounge where designers can get advice from industry experts on everything from sourcing to production. Also, American Express will be onsite to talk about "Open Forum," a platform Amex has implemented to help support the small business community.
