KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Sea Ray proudly announces the world
premiere of an entirely new yacht class, the L-Class by Sea Ray. The
introduction today at the Yacht and Brokerage Show in Miami Beach, FLA,
will feature the flagship L650 Fly, a stunning example of design
innovation and a paragon of Sea Ray’s Next Wave initiative to deliver a
next-level boating experience.
“We’re thrilled to introduce the L-Class. This marks a new era for
Sea Ray, a direct result of our desire to shape a better boating future
and to offer a new class of yachts above and beyond anything our
customers have ever seen,” said Tim Schiek, president of Sea Ray.
“The
L-Class speaks not only to Sea Ray’s commitment to purposeful
innovation, but also to the company’s strong legacy of impeccable
craftsmanship, performance and service. It’s a marriage of style and substance—
because we firmly believe in the importance of both. We could not be
more pleased to present the L650 Fly as the first of many L-Class models
on the horizon.”
With its sleek profile and beautiful aesthetic, the L650 Fly features
modern styling that marries Sea Ray’s distinctive heritage with a
dynamic edge. This is a bridge boat to exceed all expectations, from its
powerful performance capabilities to its state-of-the-art technology to
its superior comfort and livability. Every surface, every finish is
artfully chosen and pleasing to the touch.

“The L650 Fly epitomizes the new L-Class,” said Tim Schiek, president
of Sea Ray. “However, the introduction of L-Class is more than merely
the launch of a new yacht; it’s a new approach to the market that’s
includes product, along with a completely unique sales process and post

unparalleled network of dealers can pull off. The L-Class represents the
best of everything Sea Ray has to offer.”
L-Class customers will have access to unique services and amenities,
including dedicated customer service phone lines with rapid response
times; prioritized remote service teams, a Sea Ray sales concierge to
optimize the purchasing process, vessel orientation by a Sea Ray
captain, and a class-leading standard 3 year bow to stern warranty
(including engines and components), just to name a few. While the L650
Fly is the first model of the L-Class approach, there will be three more
brand-new L- Class models by the 2014 Ft. Lauderdale boat show.
The L650 Fly will be accessible for the duration of the show, which
runs February 13 to 17, at ramp 37 of the Collins Avenue Yacht and
Brokerage venue. There, several additional Sea Ray models and Meridian
models will be available for viewing. Sea Ray will also host a display
at the show’s Miami Beach Convention Center location (Booth B36)
featuring models from across the lineup.
