Forsake Takes Sneakerboots One Step Further with its Spring/Summer Collection
– Boston footwear start-up builds on success of fall debut with new shoes and site  –

Boston, Massachusetts March 11, 2014 – A hybrid shoe style that’s on the rise, the sneakerboot is more rugged than a sneaker but more casual than a hiking boot. Forsake, a crowdfunded footwear company pioneering this new category, recently expanded its product offerings for the spring 2014 season in the hopes of taking the concept mainstream.

Forsake’s spring/summer collection features two new sneakerboots – the Warrant and the Banks – that blend classic sneaker styles with boot-inspired additions such as water resistant leathers, compression EVA midsoles, and an aggressive lug pattern. The new additions round out a diverse product line that also includes two of the best sellers from the fall 2013 debut.

In contrast to Forsake’s initial line of fully waterproof high-tops, the spring models focus on breathability and performance in warmer weather. Both have moisture-wicking linings to ensure quick-drying performance and are constructed with a combination of full grain leather, suede, and ballistic nylon.

Along with the new product release, the company launched a new website that features a more intuitive layout to educate customers on the story behind the brand and allow visitors to experience how Forsake’s core following of athletes, adventurers, and photographers are using their sneakerboots.

The spring/summer collection debuted on Forsake’s new website, www.forsake.com, and in stores on March 6^th.
