Added Action Sports Content Tied To Company Expansion Into New Markets
NEW YORK, March 26, 2014 -- Today, MOTOTV, offering customizable in-store television networks for powersport dealers and retailers, and Network A, a multi-platform, action sports media property of Bedrocket,
announce a partnership to include Network A programming into the
distribution network reaching more than 14M viewers. As MOTOTV
continues to expand into other action sports markets beyond powersport
and motorcycle dealerships, including bicycle, marine, surf, skate &
ski stores, Network A programming offers a wide selection of original
and branded action sports programming for the targeted audiences.
"We're thrilled to add Network A onto our platform of action sports networks," said Gary Halpin,
co-founder and managing member of MOTOTV. "Our customers want cool and
fresh content that is relevant to their stores, and Network A content
is a perfect fit. On the flip side of that, we know we can help
increase Network A brand awareness to more action sports enthusiasts."
"MOTOTV
offers Network A an opportunity to reach the action sports community in
a new way," said Frank Kavilanz, general manager of partnerships and
revenue for Bedrocket, parent company of Network A. "As we continue to
develop as the fastest growing action sports channel online, we're
creating strategic partnerships to take the brand further and bring
viewers back to the comprehensive, social and mobile experience offered
at NetworkA.com."
MOTOTV
provides daily, original-content digitally to more than 240 powersport
dealerships and retailers, including the entire Cycle Gear chain of
accessories stores. With the ability to customize content for each
individual dealership, MOTOTV has a unique niche and an extremely
targeted action sports audience. MOTOTV has plans to add an additional
150 to 200 locations in 2014, while they also grow their other networks,
including VELOTV in bicycle shops, H2OTV in marine dealers, and
ACTIONSPORTSTV for surf, skate, and ski shops.
Network
A action sports programming includes original and branded snow, ski,
surf, skate, moto, drift and BMX content, offering MOTOTV multiple
original programming options, including "Tuerck'd," showcasing Formula
Drift's top young drifter, Ryan Tuerck, along with a new series in development, "Garage Tours," where Formula Drift driver Chris Forsberg
introduces viewers to the lives of drift, rally, NASCAR and other car
fanatics' garages. As new dealerships are added, other Network A
programming, such as "Alana: Surfer Girl," which follows the journey of
ASP World Championship tour competitor, 2014 Forbes 30 under 30: Sports,
