BOOM Nutrition’s recent acquisition of Toronto-based Carb BOOM will relocate operations to Cleveland.

BOOM Nutrition, Inc.,™ a new Cleveland area nutraceutical company announces the recent purchase of assets from the Toronto-based company Carb BOOM Sports Nutrition Inc. and the relocation of its operations to Cleveland.

BOOM Nutrition™ is relaunching the Carb BOOM! brand and will be returning the popular Carb BOOM! Energy Gels to the endurance athlete community. In addition, BOOM Nutrition plans to expand its offerings through the development of additional functional food products to support the nutrition needs of endurance athletes.

The acquisition brings with it the leadership of Tony Lammers, CEO and Mike Cousino, COO.

Lammers and Cousino are both endurance athletes who intimately understand the needs of this fast growing, high performance consumer group. In addition, they have a combined 45 years of business experience leading consumer products commercialization activities and sales, marketing and R&D activities in the Consumer Products, Specialty Sports and Sports Nutrition markets.

As they welcome the ownership and location changes, BOOM Nutrition believes the Cleveland area is a great place to be with the continued support of the Northeast Ohio investor and entrepreneurial ecosystems and the team’s leadership expertise.
