Wareham, MA-- GoMotion®,
manufacturer of wearable lighting systems for runners, walkers, hikers,
and anyone recreating outside after the sun goes down, has signed on as
a national partner for both the Ragnar Road Relay Series and Ragnar
Trail Relays, as the exclusive ‘Wearable Lighting’ supplier for the 2014
season.
The 2014 Ragnar Relay Series kicked off in Key West in February.
There are 15 road relays and seven trail relays scheduled for the year,
including a partnership with the popular New Hampshire Reach the Beach
Relay. Teams of 12 runners for road and eight for trail race relay-style
across 120-200 miles over the course of two days and one night through
some of the nation’s most scenic roads and trails.
“We’ve been supporting the Reach the Beach series for years and
jumping in with Ragnar was a natural next move,” said GoMotion’s
president and founder, Bob Hunnewell. “Our wearable lighting systems are
perfect for the overnight races. Moving the light lower on your body
increases depth perception so you can see rocks, roots and potholes
better and the rear flashing red lights ensure approaching cars and
other runners can see you. We’re excited to reach Ragnar’s many runners
and know the runners will be excited with our different lighting
options.”

About GoMotion
Founded in 2006 by runners Jonathan Craig and Bob Hunnewell,
GoMotion’s product line came from the need for a better evening running
light. GoMotion gets the light off your head and lower on your body,
offering better depth perception, comfort and stability while also
helping to maintain night vision. Lights are placed at either the
sternum or waist level, depending upon the product, and use a 100 lumen
Cree LED with a Fresnel lens for a clean, bright light. Light output can
be adjusted for varying conditions and rear flashing red LEDs mounted
on the battery pack provide increased visibility.
GoMotion’s current product line includes the new SYNERGY Hydration
LightVest, updated FUSION Backpack Light, REACTOR LightVest, LITEBELT
100 and CORELITE Waistpack Light. For sales inquiries, please contact
