Celebrating hard work, release to include two previously-unheard LIVE tracks from Zac Brown Band
DEARBORN, Mich., May 8, 2014 -- Carhartt, America's legendary work wear brand since
1889, today announced a collaboration with Southern Ground Artists to
release Backstage with Southern Ground Artists, a special promotional compilation in recognition of Carhartt's 125th
anniversary.
Throughout the month of May, consumers can download the
release for free with any purchase on Carhartt.com or receive a free CD
with any purchase at Carhartt-owned retail stores.
The compilation will include two previously-unheard live tracks from GRAMMY Award-winning Zac Brown Band and additional songs from Clay Cook, Levi Lowrey and The Wood Brothers.

This year marks Carhartt's 125th
anniversary of providing dependable and rugged workwear for America's
construction workers, farmers, railroad engineers and others. Hamilton
Carhartt founded the company in Detroit
in 1889 when he offered railroad workers a coverall that was designed
specifically for their tasks.
Carhartt is recognizing its anniversary by
offering monthly, commemorative items. The Southern Ground extended
play album will be the commemorative item featured for the month of May.
