Under Armour® Tests New Technology with Fast Twitch™ Professional Athlete Trainers in Miami

May 5, 2014 - MIRAMAR, Fla. -- Miami, Fl, April 30, 2014 - Under Armour  is traveling  to 7 cities across the country to put their new technology, Armour 39, to the test. On April 30th, 2014 Under Armour visited Miami’s elite athlete training facility, Fast Twitch Performance Training, to do just that. Fast Twitch is one of the select Under Armour sponsored training facilities in the Unites States, they specialize in training athletes from a variety of professional leagues.

During the exclusive event the best in the health & fitness industry, bloggers, editors, social media influencers, trainers and MMF elite participated in group workouts featuring the Armour39 performance monitor. The monitor consists of a chest strap, module, mobile app and watch. The device was created for athletes and is designed to detect body position, absorb any potential impact, and fit comfortably and securely under training attire. The system tracks heart rate, calories burned, real-time intensity, and WILLpower™ score. Attendees powered through an hours worth of heart pumping, professional athlete level activity, led by Fast Twitch Trainers.

Consistent with the Fast Twitch commitment to innovative technology, the facility incorporate iPad stands to keep participants informed at all times. Guests watched in real time as the accompanying Armour39 mobile app logged, and compared their stats as the workouts progressed. Each participant walked away with a Under Armour sponsored swag bag which included the Armour39 technology, fitness apparel, and supplies.
