Billabong COO Jeff Streader today announced the appointment of Kadima
Lonji to the role of Chief Technology Officer of Direct to Consumer
(DTC) for Billabong. Reporting directly to Jeff Streader, Kadima Lonji
brings over fifteen years’ experience setting the vision of omni-
channel platforms as well as building and managing high performance
teams with extensive experience in e-Commerce for some of the industry’s
leading multi-channel consumer brands and retailers.
Jeff Streader stated, “We are thrilled to have Kadima join our
leadership team. His global experience in building best in class
e-commerce platforms will guide Billabong as we build our omni-channel
experience. Kadima will have oversight for upgrading our direct to
consumer platform globally.” Chief Executive Officer, Neil Fiske added,

priorities, as reflected in our seven part turnaround strategy. We are
fortunate to have someone of Kadima’s experience, skill, and vision
taking this critical role.”
Lonji’s background includes leadership roles in Omni-Commerce and
e-Commerce development at J.Crew, Saks Fifth Avenue and Barnes &
Noble Inc. Most recently, Kadima held the position of Global Director of
Omni-Commerce Systems at Luxottica Group, coordinating the development
and deployment of all major oakley.com and rayban.com platforms
globally. Since 2011, his role focused on refreshing the internal
technology team for the global e-commerce group as well as unifying and
re-platforming the disparate systems for the multiple brands managed at
Oakley HQ in California. Kadima’s responsibilities included leadership
oversight of the Global e-Commerce Group including developers, database
administrators, QA analysts, project managers and business systems
analysts.
From 2006 - 2011, Kadima was the Director of e-Commerce Systems at
J.Crew Group, leading their online commerce initiative. He built and
supported a team responsible for all website applications from
presentation layer to e-commerce checkout, content management
applications, search functionality and interfaces. Prior to this, Kadima
was the Director of e- Commerce Applications at Saks Fifth Avenue Inc.
reporting directly to the President of Saks Direct. He was responsible
for assembling and leading a team of top programmers to build and launch
the saks.com e-commerce platform from scratch.
Kadima Lonji holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
