NIKE 1994 showcases exclusive footwear and performance apparel designed for Brasil’s summer of football.
In recognition of football’s biggest event in Brasil, Nike opens its
first pop-up store in the country —NIKE 1994, a nod to Nike’s 20 years
of brilliant football. NIKE 1994, located in the heart of Vila Madalena,
promises to bring to São Paulo a premium and unique experience,
complete with appearances from celebrities, athletes and special Nike
peformance products.
Uniting sport, culture and design, NIKE 1994 features the brand's
most exclusive lines, available for the first time in Brasil. Limited
editions, which before could only be found in London, Tokyo, Milan and
New York, will now be available in São Paulo. A sneaker wall will change
every Saturday to ensure the latest designs are featured.
The store design and products are inspired by Nike F.C.,
which is not just a collection but is also designed to be a badge of
honor representing the passion, talent, irreverence and boldness of
those athletes who know there is no victory without risk.
With football so closely tied to art in Brasil, a gallery rounds out
the space, showcasing projects supported by the brand, including the
book “Bola” [Ball] by Thierry Des Fontaines, and the “Mostra Futebol BR”
[Brasil Football Exhibition] with photographs by the DOC Galeria.
The two-story pop-up store, approximately 200 square meters, will be
open until August, and complements other Nike football experiences in
Brasil, including the first Nike football-only store in Copacabana, the Ipanema store and the permanent training center in Aterro do Flamengo.
