Laguna Hills, CA (June 16, 2014) - Long time sales veteran and all
around good guy Tony Casella joins Freewaters effective June 9, 2014.
“Over the past two decades, Tony has built an impressive legacy of
experience and relationships within the casual footwear industry,” said
VP of Sales John Gothard.
“He is one of the most respected sales reps
out there and many retailers consider him the single best rep they have,
period.”
Tony is reuniting with John Gothard and John Vance whom he successfully
worked with for close to a decade. “Tony is one of the hardest working
and most caring reps I have ever worked with,” said John Vance,
Freewaters President and CEO.
“He is a true advocate for the retailer
and always places their needs first. He has an innate sense of what will
be strong in the market place and where the opportunities for growth
are.”
Casella commented, “I look forward to getting back into the stores,
working closely with the owners and their crews. These are very exciting
times in our industry with lots of newbrands emerging right now. It’s
time for all of us to take a hard look at our individual business' and
to inject ‘special’ back into specialty retail by offering fresh product
and incredible customer service.”
Tony will assume a newly created territory that encompasses the Central
Coast over to June Mountain and down through the counties of Mono,
Santa Barbara, Ventura, L.A., Orange and Riverside. He will hit the road

at Sanuk from 1998 – 2014 playing a key role in its significant growth.
