Hood River, OR. DAKINE, the Northwest-based
outerwear and accessories brand, is pleased to announce Tyler Malay as
the brand’s newly appointed Video Production Manager. Malay will be based
in Dakine’s Global headquarters, and will report directly to Scotty
Conerly, Dakine’s Snow Marketing Director.
“Tyler has been working with both our athlete and marketing team for
several years and is the perfect fit for this roll. He brings a ton of
action sports filming and editing experience across multiple sports and
product categories.” said Conerly, referring to Malay’s decade of
experience in action sports. “He’s a great addition to Dakine’s
Marketing team as we look to increase our brand reach over the next few
years.”

Malay will be responsible for leading Dakine’s product and athlete
videos, commercials, catalog video shoots, and expanding its video
presence on a global level.
Most recently Malay was one of the lead filmers for Transworld
Snowboarding’s film “Nation” as well as the video production manger and
graphic designer for Windell’s Camp.
