Jones Snowboards Partners With SASS Global Travel on Splitboard Demo Program

Truckee, CA (July 15, 2014) -- Snowboard brand Jones Snowboards has partnered with adventure travel company SASS Global Travel to offer splitboard clinics using Jones’ splitboards on SASS snowboarding programs in Argentina and Japan.

For the past ten years, SASS Global Travel has offered one of the premier guided backcountry snowboarding experiences in the world at their flagship SASS Argentina program based in Bariloche, Argentina.

Taking advantage of full-on winter conditions in the Andes Mountains during the North Hemisphere summer, SASS’ Argentina camp is an all-ages guided program that offers a rare opportunity for dedicated snowboarders to ride incredible backcountry terrain in August and learn critical backcountry skills such as avalanche awareness and splitboarding from SASS professional coaches like Jones Snowboards’ Ambassador Guide Chris Coulter.

For 2014 and beyond, all splitboard clinics taught at SASS Argentina and the new SASS Japan program will feature Jones Snowboards’ award winning splitboard models including the Solution and the new Explorer.
