New EON Mobile Brings EON Reality's World Leading Virtual Reality Knowledge Transfer Software to Samsung Gear VR and Apple iPhone 6

Android and iOS Users Can Now Access the World's Largest Virtual Reality Application Library, the EON Experience Portal, on the Go

IRVINE, CA--(Sep 16, 2014) - EON Reality Inc., the world leader in Virtual Reality based knowledge transfer for industry, education, and edutainment, has released an updated version of EON Mobile that brings EON's world leading knowledge transfer software to mobile devices such as Samsung Gear VR, Samsung Note 4, Durovis Dive, and Apple iPhone 6, see video. Using EON Professional's one-click publishing to Google Play or the Apple App store, users can deploy their Virtual Reality applications for dispersed learning, reference in the field, or for on-the-go entertainment.

EON Mobile now supports immersive Virtual Reality with head-tracking utilizing a mobile device's gyroscope. This addition enables a user to use his or her phone as a portable Virtual Reality device with Samsung's Gear VR or by utilizing devices like the Durovis Dive. Mobile based Virtual Reality significantly reduces the barrier of entry to an immersive experience allowing applications, like EON Sports' SIDEKIQ, to reach many more users than is currently possible.

Along with adding Virtual Reality support, EON Mobile's one-click to Google Play and the Apple App store further cements EON Reality's "Phone to Dome" deployment strategy. Content created on the EON platform can easily be used across an entire ecosystem of devices covering mobile phones to the Idome. EON Mobile applications have the same high fidelity and intuitive interaction that PC based EON applications do. These changes bring EON Reality's world leading knowledge transfer software to classrooms, boardrooms, and field operations worldwide.

These improvements, such as a new scripting engine, allow users to run their applications unmodified on mobile devices. Also, these improvements bring EON's full object-oriented development environment to mobile devices and provide complete access to the world's largest Virtual Reality library, the EON Experience Portal.
