Last year, the Nautique Wake Series took wakeboarding by storm and in 2015 it will be bigger and better than ever. The new Nautique Wake Series will include events that will span the globe and become the World’s most dominant and respected global wakeboard series in existence.
The Nautique Wake Series will include the following events; The Moomba Masters – presented by Nautique Boats, the Nautique Wake Open, the Nautique Pro Am, the Nautique WWA U.S. Wakeboard & Cable Nationals and Wakestock Canada. Also new for 2015 is that four of the five stops of the Nautique Wake Series will also be stops of the WWA Wakeboard World Series.
“This is a huge step in the new direction WWA is taking to lead the sport to new heights,” stated Shannon Starling, WWA President. “Connecting the already established Nautique Wake Series with the WWA Wakeboard World Series establishes the largest legitimate series of events ever in the sport of wake,” Starling added.
Each event will showcase amateur divisions, Jr. Pro Men, Pro Women, Pro Wakeskate and Pro Men making the Nautique Wake Series the only event series in 2015 giving riders of all ages, genders, and skill levels the opportunity to compete at an elite level during the entire competitive season.
The overall Nautique Wake Series winners will be crowned at the final Nautique Wake Series stop. The top six in Pro Women, Jr. Pro Men, Pro Wakeskate and Pro Men will also receive an invitation to the 2016 U.S. Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament.
