Icebug USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Icebug AB headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, one of the fastest growing global footwear companies in the trail and off-trail categories, announced today a renewed partnership with the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships (OCRWC) as the exclusive shoe partner for the October 2015 event.
The partnership will allow Icebug to continue sharing its high-quality footwear lineup with some of the best athletes in the world, while also introducing new products into one of the fastest growing sports markets throughout 2015.

As part of the partnership, Icebug footwear will be available for purchase at the OCRWC on Oct. 17 and 18 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will also be featured throughout the year on OCR Gear, the world’s first online retailer focused specifically on Obstacle Course Racing gear and apparel, as well as on partner sites such as MudRunGuide.com. In addition to being the official footwear of the OCRWC, Icebug will also develop and produce limited edition products and footwear specific to Obstacle Course Racing.

About the OCR World Championships:
The OCR World Championships, announced in December 2013, is the first truly independent championship event designed to celebrate the athletes in the burgeoning sport of obstacle course racing. The race will be held on October 17 and 18, 2015 in Cincinnati, Ohio. It will be one of the most diverse competitive events in the sport with over 16 racing categories including elite, age-group, and team competitions, and will feature over 50 categories for cash and prizes for athletes.
