Seattle, WA (February 27, 2015) – KAVU, the true outdoor lifestyle clothing brand, has hired Desiree Hastie as men’s Lead Designer.
“Desiree brings incredible energy to the design process and we’re
excited to have her back in the KAVU family,” said KAVU founder and
president, Barry Barr.
Hastie had worked with KAVU as a freelance designer from 2006-09.
Previously she was a menswear designer at Nordstrom and most recently
Zumiez, where she designed men’s and youth apparel across its multiple
brands.
“KAVU has made some major gains over the last five years and has some
serious momentum,” said Hastie. “The men’s collection continues to
evolve and grow. I look forward to infusing some additional KAVU spirit
into the collection.”
Hastie will be responsible for all aspects of KAVU’s men’s apparel
from sourcing and design to fit. Lead Designer Leah Evans will continue
to oversee design direction for the brand.
