Leading anti-microbial provider ensures freshness for more top outdoor brands in 2015.
For Spring 2015, Polygiene®,
the world leader in odor control and freshness technologies, is pleased
to announce new partnerships with leading brands in the outdoor
industry including Patagonia, POC and La Sportiva.
Polygiene is a
bluesign® approved treatment that is a silver-salt application derived
from recycled content (silver mostly from electronics) and its use can
reduce the need for frequent laundering, saving water and energy over
the life cycle of apparel.
For Spring 2015, Patagonia has partnered with Polygiene to launch the Men’s Long Haul Western Shirt
(MSRP $89). This shirt is lightweight, breathable and quick drying.
Best of all, it transitions smoothly from the river to the trail or time
at the office.
The Patagonia Women’s Nine Trails Skirt (MSRP $59) and Shirt
(MSRP $45) are also new for Spring 2015 and treated with Polygiene
technology. Its odor-free effect lasts the life of the product and with
the reduced need of washings will help extend the life of the garment.
The Men’s collection includes the Nine Trails Shirt (MSRP $45) and the Shorts
(MSRP $65). The Nine Trails Shirt is fast drying but looks and feels
like cotton and both shirt and shorts boast durability, comfort and
versatility.
POC has introduced four key new products with Polygiene technology for Spring 2015, including VPD Air Knee (MSRP $80) and VPD Air Elbow (MSRP $70) protection, as well as the Crane MIPS helmet (MSRP $170) and Chamois Underwear (MSRP
$40). All four mountain bike products speak directly to POC’s mission
to save lives and reduce consequences of crashes for gravity athletes
and cyclists, and feature Polygiene technology to keep them stink free.
Polygiene has also partnered with La Sportiva on several innovative pieces for Spring 2015. The Men’s Peak T-shirt (MSRP $50) is lightweight, ultra fast drying and features a body-mapped venting system. The Men’s Spacer Jacket (MSRP $159), also treated with Polygiene, is made for the mountains and is the ideal thermal layer. The Women’s Flight Tank (MSRP $45) features body-mapped venting along with high comfort and a soft touch. The Women’s Dalilah Jacket
(MSRP $159) optimizes insulation and breathability. Along with
Polygiene, this jacket has a Spirex hybrid puffy design that will keep
you warm and dry.
