COHASSET, MA. - OOFOS, the leader in recovery footwear, has more than doubled its international business over the past year.
The company is reporting that 15 percent of its overall business is
now coming from international markets compared to only 6 percent of its
total business in 2013.
Much of that growth is coming from Canada, Thailand, Australia and
New Zealand as well as Portugal, which started selling OOFOS in 2013.
Michael Harrison, Head of International Business Development at
OOFOS, says he expects to see continued international growth in 2015.
“The consumer need for recovery footwear which OOFOS provides is
universal and the reaction to our technology is similar everywhere we
go. We’re also noticing that many international markets look to the US
for the latest innovations in running specialty and as a result we’re
finding a lot of interested parties are approaching us.”
Harrison notes that Costa Rica and Israel as well as several European countries are already set to begin selling OOFOS in 2015.
