REEF EVOLVES SALES ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE MORE SUPPORT FOR ITS CORE RETAILERS

MIKE LOSNESS JOINS SALES MANAGEMENT TEAM
 
(Carlsbad, CA) – May 11, 2015 – Reef, the global surf lifestyle leader, is pleased to announce the strategic division of sales management to focus more closely on its core retailers. Reef Sales Rep Mike Losness has been promoted to the new role of Director of Field Sales- West. Greg Osthus, who has been in Reef Sales Management for over 5 years, is now Director of Field Sales - East. Losness and Osthus will both report to VP of Sales, Jay McGregor.

“Mike has done an incredible job growing the Reef brand as a Sales Rep, and I’m excited to bring him on board to the management team to better serve our core retailers in the West Region,” says Jay McGregor. “By putting Mike in the West, and Greg on the East, we have a tremendous and talented duo that can focus their energy on a specific region to maximize our growth potential with our retail partners.”

Losness has been with Reef since 2011 as an independent Sales Rep in Southern California, primarily focusing on core Action Sports retailers in Orange County. Mike has grown the territory into one of the top Reef territories in the country. Prior to his Sales Rep career, Losness was a professional surfer and Reef team rider who was known for his progressive style and high-performance.

Losness will now oversee the Western half of the US, including Hawaii.
Osthus, who has been with Reef since 2010 as Director of Sales- Independents, will oversee the Eastern US (including Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and Military accounts), where he will continue to drive the Reef business and add more focus and account interaction with his team.
