Taiwan's world-class bicycle brands are increasingly renowned for their high-tech, value-added products
KIELCE, Poland, Sept. 22, 2015 -- Taiwan, a key player in the global bicycle industry, will showcase cutting-edge products from the region's top brands at the Kielce Bike Expo in Poland from September 24-26. This event is one of the largest bicycle trade fairs in the Central and Eastern Europe, featuring 200 booths showcasing 400 brands from 15 countries/regions. During the Kielce Bike Expo, 34 of Taiwan's outstanding bicycle products, from complete bikes to accessories, will be displayed in the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion, organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade of MOEA and implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).
Most products on display are winners of the Taiwan Excellence Award. Products deemed exceptional in the areas of R&D, design, quality, marketing, and "made in Taiwan" receive the Taiwan Excellence award and are authorized by Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs to display the Taiwan Excellence mark. The five indicators are of equal importance, and each is judged on its innovation value, the most important standard of all.
At the Kielce Bike Expo, a wide variety of first-rate Taiwanese complete bicycles will be displayed. Merida is introducing the Ninety Six, a completely re-engineered full suspension bike whose heritage runs deep in the cross country world cup. Giant will introduce its Glory Advanced 27.5, an all-new DH racer designed from the get-go to break new ground in stiffness, weight and all-around performance. The new frame geometry has been refined, tested and proven by pro racers in the most demanding conditions. BESV will feature its PS1, a pedal-assisted electric bicycle that is the perfect choice for urban riders, ensuring the smoothest of rides, for daily commutes and fun rides around town.
Bicycle accessories will be featured prominently at the Poland Kielce Expo as well. Qbicle, renowned for quirky innovations, will showcase its Tangent fenders. When weather turns wet and ugly, Qbicle Tangent fenders will save cyclists from splashback and keep the road grime from forming that familiar black line up a rider's back. Holux will showcase its heart-rate smartwatch. This new wearable device integrates the latest fitness monitoring technology, eliminating deviations in calculations due to movements and vibrations, providing continuous heart rate measurements.
