Thule announced its ad campaign with Nitro Circus


Seymour, Connecticut., September 11, 2015

Nitro Circus has signed an agreement with the NBC Sports Group to broadcast exclusive content including three yearly specials and an 8-part reality series.  Through this strategic alignment, Thule advertising is featured during the Nitro Circus programs with their first ever TV spots, focusing on the brand’s Bring Your Life message.  In addition, Thule will also be airing the commercials within the  25-city Nitro Circus Live North American Fall Tour.

Nitro Circus features some of the best action sports athletes in the world attempting various daring tricks in BMX, skateboarding and motocross.  Beginning in 2003, Jeremy Rawle, Gregg Godgfrey and action sports star Travis Pastrana, began filming out of Travis’s garage chronicling their attempts at a variety of outrageous stunts.  The series was then picked up by MTV and was wildly successful, broadcasting in over 60 countries worldwide.  Building on this momentum, Nitro Circus took their show live and has now sold out shows across five continents.

The kickoff of this campaign began on July 12th with three 30-second Thule TV spots, which aired during their 90-minute special on NBC, Nitro Circus: Revolution Day, featuring Jed Mildon and James Foster attempting to make history with the first ever quadruple backflip on a BMX bike.  The campaign continues this Saturday, September 12th at 11:30pm ET, with two 30-second Thule TV spots on NBCSN during Road to the Unthinkable: The Quest for the Motorcycle Triple Backflip.  On Thursday, October 15th at 9pm ET on NBCSN, the eight-part reality series will debut, called Nitro Circus Crazy Train, which will give a behind-the scenes look at the athlete’s daily lives as they participate in the 25-city tour.  Each week, two Thule TV spots will air during the broadcasts.
