Awards : Fitness Retailers Again Name Octane Best Supplier and Best Elliptical

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. – Dec. 6, 2012 – With an unmatched history of decisive victories, Octane Fitness, LLC (www.octanefitness.com) was named the best supplier in the industry for the fifth year, as well as the top-selling elliptical machine for the seventh year, in the Specialty News® (SNEWS) 2012 Fitness Retailer Survey.

Octane completely dominated the Best Supplier category, claiming almost 40% of votes, which was more than triple the amount of the next closest manufacturer named, among 11 listed overall. According to the survey, “Respondents said Octane was the best because of its quality service, innovation in product design and ease to work with.”

In the competitive top-selling elliptical category, Octane again earned more than three times the votes of the second place machines, with 52.5% of respondents naming Octane No. 1 among 21 brands listed. Surveyors said, “No shocker here, as Octane Fitness has overwhelmingly recaptured the top spot on the top sellers list.”

Currently, Octane makes five standing ellipticals for home workouts and four for commercial use; five seated ellipticals for home use and three for commercial; and the new LateralX lateral elliptical trainer for home and commercial exercise.
