The Commercial Court of Cherbourg arrested Thursday April 25 sale plan of Losange Group (facnor, Sparcraft), headquartered in Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, benefiting Deck Development. Deck Development is the holding Wichard, in the field of industrial forges precision (aerospace, medical ...), but also a manufacturer of hardware for pleasure (pulleys, shackles, hooks) and owner of the brand reels Profurl sails. The group is based in Thiers (Puy-de-Dome).
 
Losange group includes facnor, one of the leaders in the market for furling, created in 1980 by Jean-Michel Després, brand rigs RDM Sparcraft based in La Rochelle, taken in 1996, and a subsidiary in the United States. These activities now account for 77 jobs, including 40 in La Rochelle and the rest in Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue.

The crisis of the nautical sector, especially the original equipment market had severely affected the activity of the Diamond Group, whose subsidiary Rochelle before the group itself, was placed in receivership.
