DENVER (July 9, 2013) – Vision Street
Wear®, legendary skate and street wear brand, releases its Fall 2013
collection of men’s and women’s footwear, t-shirts, fleece, and
accessories. Since hitting the scene more than 35 years ago, Vision
Street Wear has been recognized for its iconic pieces that emphasize
bold graphics and irreverent design. This season’s collection will
feature the “Original Street Style” silhouettes that made Vision Street
Wear a household name, paying homage to its heritage, while using
updated patterns and new materials to connect with today’s youth.
“We are really excited about our new Fall line,” says Vision
brand manager Mark Encinias. “Vision Street Wear has always been on the
cusp of what’s innovative in skate and street wear, and we believe both
old and new Vision fans will enjoy our modern take on the original
classics.”
Following a successful collaboration with innovative, New
York-based fashion retailer Opening Ceremony, Vision Street Wear will
release its latest namesake line this Fall. The collection includes 11
men’s styles, including the legendary Suede Hi in three colorways, the
return of the Supertrick hightop and several canvas and nylon styles.
Additionally, there are six new women’s designs, inspired by bright and
striking patterns from across the globe, including contemporary
interpretations of Vision Street Wear’s signature graphics and design.
“The Fall line includes the most extensive women’s collection the
brand has had in years,” Encinias said. “And the new styles represent
an amazing combination of authentic Vision attitude and edge with
updated, relevant styling.”
To support the Fall 2013 collection, Vision will be launching its
new “Original Street Style” marketing campaign. The multi-media
campaign will feature full-page print ads, online media, direct
marketing, retail partnerships and two collaborations with street
culture ambassadors Melody Ehsani and DJ SOSUPERSAM. World-renowned
LA-based jewelry designer Melody Ehsani partners with the brand on a
video project that showcases her personal style and shows how she is
influenced by both skate and street culture. LA native Samantha Dueñas,
better known as DJ SOSUPERSAM, joins the Vision crew as the brand’s
first female ambassador in several years. Formerly a singer and dancer,
Sam’s passion for music has transformed her into one of the most
sought-after DJ’s on the club scene, as she is recognized for her
technical foundation, genre-bending mixtapes, and unforgettable stage
presence.
