Sep. 19, 2013 - CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- CHEYENNE, WY—OutdoorGearLab.com recently published the results of the 2013 Editors’ Choice Awards for the Women's Climbing Helmet category, listing this year’s best and best value. The OutdoorGearLab Review Editors chose the following winners after extensive field testing in the High Sierra, Yosemite Vally, Tuolumne Meadows, and climbing in the Chalten Massif of Patagonia. We took the three women's helmets on the market and subjected them to head-to-head tests to figure out which was the best in the following categories: comfort, ease of adjustment, weight, ventilation, and ease of headlamp attachment.
