(January 6, 2014) Capsule, the global trade event for the advanced contemporary apparel market, has joined Reed Exhibitions,
the world’s leading trade show organizer. Capsule, with twelve shows
annually held in New York, Paris, Berlin and Las Vegas, specializes in
presenting a curated assortment of high-end progressive and independent
designers to a worldwide community of prestigious retailers and fashion
editors.
Its emphasis is on classic and forward thinking sportswear and
accessories, plus ancillary experiences that speak to the cultural
creative audience. Renowned for an infectious vibe and a strong buzz
among trend makers and watchers, Capsule has become a not-to-be-missed
event since its launch in 2007.
Capsule, which has been independently operated by fashion consultancy
BPMW since its inception, will join Reed’s growing portfolio of fashion
events (that already includes AGENDA).
The two companies will collaborate on show development and work to
further enhance the overall experience for the exhibitors and attendees
who make up the Capsule community.

will drive customer value to new heights, providing the high-end fashion
community with greater access and expanded opportunities to grow and
thrive.

The three co-founders of Capsule, Maloney, Edina Sultanik and Minya

The transaction was completed in late December. Terms were not disclosed.
