STAMFORD, Conn. – June 23, 2014 – Alli Sports, a division of NBC
Sports Ventures, today named Chris Stiepock as Vice President, General
Manager, Dew Tour.
Stiepock will oversee daily operations and sales efforts for the Dew
Tour, which consists of four marquee events, featuring disciplines
across BMX, skateboard, freeski and snowboard.
Stiepock, an action
sports industry veteran of more than 20 years, will begin his new duties
immediately, and report to Eric Grilly, President, Alli Sports.
“Chris is an action sports veteran with a track record of success in
the industry,” said Grilly. “We are excited to have him join the Alli
team, and I’m looking forward to working with him to continue to grow
the Dew Tour.”
Prior to joining Alli, Stiepock served as Vice President, Global
Event Management, ESPN X Games Events. Stiepock began his career with
ESPN in 1994 for the inaugural X Games, and during the following 19
years managed several different X Games elements including marketing, communications, endemic sales, music, activation, event staging and
more. “I’m very appreciative of the opportunity to work for Alli,” said
Stiepock, “I”m excited to begin working with an experienced group that
has put on great Dew Tour events for 10 years.”
Stiepock earned a Masters of Business Administration in International
Sports Management from the University of Rhode Island, and earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Wesleyan University.
