Lynnwood, WA. – SOG® Specialty Knives and Tools has named Rick
Klug as their new US Sales Manager, an appointment effective as
of September 3, 2014.
A veteran of more than 20 years of sales, Klug has worked with some of the leading brands within the outdoor industry in inside sales, specialty sales and regional sales positions.
Before joining SOG he served as the northwest regional sales manager for American Recreation, working directly with speciality retail accounts with the Kelty, Sierra Designs and Ultimate Direction brands.
As US Sales Manager, Klug will be responsible for strategic and tactical management across all sales initiatives. He will be tasked with managing SOG’s independent sales agencies and develop profitable sales programs and promotional strategies for existing and new customers.
“Rick has a proven track record of creating new accounts, and he’ll bring a level of service to our existing accounts that will be hard to beat,” said Nando Zucchi, SOG’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “He’ll be key to expanding the presence of our brand in the market.”
Klug will be based in SOG’s Lynnwood, Washington office and will report to Patrick Carland, the company’s Director of US Sales.
