Cobalt Boats introduced two new models for 2015

NEODESHA, Kan. – The 2015 model year has already kicked off to a great start. Cobalt Boats has introduced the highly anticipated R7 Water Sports Series (WSS) as well as a new S-interior option for the 200. These exciting debuts made their appearance at the 2015 Dealer Meeting held in the fall.
The R7 WSS is every watersports enthusiast’s dream. Standing fully prepared to fulfill demands of wakeboarding, wakeskating, or any and all watersport activities, this package exhibits outstanding athleticism and style.

“This boat is the perfect combination of stern drive excellence and a water-sport towing machine,” says Gavan Hunt, VP of Sales and Marketing. The combination of the R7, which has shown great success in the 23’ – 27’ bowrider segment thanks to its tremendous interior beam, synced with the WSS package will undoubtedly become an industry benchmark.

This ultimate bowrider sports new exterior graphics and a unique R model arch with added wakeboard racks. The WSS-specific trim throughout the upholstery and dash, provides an aggressive look to the cockpit. As with any of Cobalt’s WSS sport boats, the new R7 WSS is showcased by the chrome WSS badge at the transom. A feature that provides a custom highlight, worthy of gloat. “The R7 WSS has already surpassed our initial projections. We can’t wait to see more from this industry-leading boat.”

The 200-S interior is also new to the 2015 lineup. This versatile seating arrangement combines an oversized layout with amazing performance. The passenger seat can be positioned in a traditional, forward-facing manner, then quickly and easily flipped down, transforming the cockpit into a massive arena- style seating arrangement. “In addition, the 200-S includes an in-floor ski locker for convenient storage, which is also an added bonus” Hunt adds. And to top it off, the 200-S interior utilizes every square inch of space, maximizing your ability to bring aboard every necessity for a fun day on the water.

Both the 200-S and R7 WSS will be featured at a boat show near you.
