PSP Southampton Boat Show 2012 is being
held from Friday 14th to Sunday 23rd September. From launches and
workshops, to racing and special offers, the RYA is hosting a plethora
of events and activities.
New for 2012 is the RYA 'Active
Marina Experience' in partnership with Which Marina? Visitors to the
show will have the opportunity to refresh their boating skills and gain
top tips from expert instructors with free on the water and shore based
workshops.
From man overboard drills and berthing manoeuvres
to engine maintenance and radar operation, workshops will run each day
and will provide some real hands-on experience.
Places are
very limited so it is highly recommended you book your session either in
advance for the shore-based workshops or on the day for on-the-water
sessions.
To book an on-water workshop visit the ‘Try-a-Boat’
booking point on stand A140, when you arrive at the show (On-water
workshops cannot be booked in advance).
Shorebased workshops
can be booked in advance through Which Marina? by emailing
Bookings(@)which-marina.com, calling 01784 223 816 or by visiting the
Which Marina? stand F004 at the show. The first 50 shorebased workshop
bookings will receive a free Navionics app for iPhones worth £21.99.
