The 2012 Club Marine Australian Marine Export
& Superyacht Industry Awards, organized by the Australian
International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) were announced on Thursday
night at the AIMEX and Club Marine annual networking function in
Sydney’s Darling Harbor.
The award for Most Innovative Marine
Industry Exported Product recognises market-leading products that
demonstrate overall product superiority offering a point of difference
from their competitors.
FinScan were awarded Winners in the category ‘Most Innovative Marine Industry Exported Product’.
Based in New South Wales, FinScan are developers of innovative power and security solutions for boats of all sizes.
The
company’s dynamic, yet grounded, philosophy has given the marine
industry easy to use technology that is adaptive to the boat builders
and end user requirements.
The award was given to FinScan for
the IntelliCORE Smart Power System; a complete power control &
management solution allowing ease and simplicity for any user. The Bio
eStart engine starting product won the award back in 2010.
The
IntelliCORE system was developed with simplicity in mind – it consists
of many components that work together to profile complete, smart power
switching and monitoring on a vessel from a central point. The
innovative system is designed for boats ranging from 16ft – 70ft in size
and it at the cutting edge of technology and design.
The
system ranges in size and capabilities, from as small as one touchscreen
controlling a small group of DC circuits, through to a complete control
system for larger vessels; consisting of multiple touchscreens, AC / DC
switching, shore power management, tank levels and many more.
At
Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show 2012, FinScan announced and
launched the inclusion of the IntelliCORE Smart Power system as a
standard feature on the new Palm Beach Motor Yachts 45.
FinScan
began showing the system at METS and IBEX in 2011 where they realized
that the product was unique, in demand and superior in many ways, than
anything else that was currently on the market. They have since had
presence at other International Shows such as Miami Boat Show 2012 where
the system has been very well received.
A dedication to
research and development has allowed FinScan to respond to International
export requirements swiftly around the world.
