BURLINGTON, VT The countdown is over, and the
‘Season of Reason’ is finally here with today’s launch of Burton’s new
2014 collection, Winter 2014 catalog and the completely redesigned Burton.com.
One of the most anticipated moments of the year for snowboarders
worldwide, today is the day when riders everywhere can check out
thousands of new Burton 2014 snowboards, boots, bindings, outerwear,
bags, apparel and more. And it doesn’t stop there. To kick the season
off right, Burton is also premiering the first teaser from its brand
new, four-part web video series, called “Burton Presents -
[Snowboarding].”
First up is the product. Designed and tested by the world’s best
snowboarders, the 2014 line is absolutely next level. For boards, check
out the men’s Trick Pony and women’s Social Restricted, both winners of
the coveted Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood awards. Also big news on
the boards’ front is that all Burton snowboards featuring The Channel
mounting system are now backed by a three-year warranty. For bindings,
take a close look at the 2014 Malavita, which features top technologies
backed with a freestyle focus. Burton boots offer Total Comfort
technology, so from day one to day 100, they start comfortable and stay
comfortable.
On the outerwear side, Burton keeps riders warm, dry and looking good
with a vast line that features best-in-class technology and design,
including the men’s [ak] 2L Swash Jacket, the women’s Jet Set Jacketand
the Boys’ Fray Jacket. This season, Burton also has some incredible,
must-see collaboration projects, including collections designed with
Gwen Stefani’sL.A.M.B. and Pharrell Williams’ BIONIC® YARN. Finally for
2014, Burton has created an exclusive #Screengrab technology in gloves,
and expanded its sustainable offerings with the Green Mountain Process
in the apparel and baglines.

today Burton also released the first official teaser of its brand new

feature the best of Backcountry, Street, Women and Resort riding,
showcasing Burton pro snowboarders at locations around the globe. Check
